Games Based so Learning is Productive & Fun

Good dogs come from well loved and trained pups, here at kaden we are concept trainers, we train with games, we train by understanding our pups strengths and weaknesses and work within these to grow and prepare our pups for the real world.

This way of training is proven.

You will learn how to assess your pup and then implement a program that is fun, positive and easy to follow.

Your pup will be focused, listening and wanting to be with you. Your pup will be confident and able to handle to big world it is about to enter. Everything that will make life easier for working dogs this is a must as they will go into training connected and working with you.

Hi, my name is Denise Hawe and I am the founder of this Online School. I would like to take this opportunity for you to get to know me, the person rather than the founder. It is true working dogs, the training and welfare of them is a huge part of my life. I am also a passionate NRL footy fan. Having been raised by a mum who worshiped the Parramatta Eels and dragged us along to every game, it is no wonder I bleed blue and gold. My family consists of Steve, 4 beautiful kids, 8 delightful grand kids and 9 wonderful dogs. We run dorper sheep here and I have a great deal of respect for them. I love mustering and yard work, even though I am 60 now I feel I could do this for the rest of my life. I am a big Keto fan as I have lost 38kg on this diet and feel fantastic. Energy to burn. I need plenty to keep up with these working dogs. I adore a good coffee and don't mind a scotch and water. Strawberries and blueberries are my all time favorite fruits while curries and lamb are my mains, for snacks I love almonds, pecans and cheese. I guess you could say I have a strong personality and like to give things my all. I love to learn, the more the better. We have always lived quite remote and enjoy the bush, although it can be hard at times with drought. The wildlife is amazing and you will hear all sorts of birds in the background of some of my videos. Training can be tough with flies, burrs, strong winds and lets not forget summers that top 43 degree C.

UPDATE

There comes a time in everyone's life to start thinking about retirement, and it is time for me. We have bought a small block at Warwick where I am now based, working dogs are still huge in my life and so is learning, I have now completed my Advanced Canine Behaviour course and have received my Diploma which I am proud of. This gives me more to share with you wonderful student. 3 Sheep Trials have become my pass time and has meant training working dogs has stepped up a notch. The more time you spend with these amazing animals the more I find I want to learn and achieve. We at Kaden are working hard to keep you as up to date in as we can. Come join us!

I loved Kaden's Working Dog School!! There was plenty of on the job training for both handler and dogs, and Denise's supportive and clear instructions helped me to work better with my dogs. You are so well looked after and made to feel like one of the family. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone to attend her school.

Kaden’s working dog schools run a comprehensive training program that has been carefully constructed for the development of a confident and well rounded sheep dog. Denise tackles training with all her heart and enthusiasm (this is considerable), and her drive to get the best from the dogs is admirable. Her philosophy of patience, kindness and positivity allows the dogs to shine. Working through an issue is tackled with a can do attitude and positivity and importantly no punishment (for dog or handler). Feedback is delivered sensitively but directly and there is always a solution to a problem. Denise not only assists the training of trialling dogs but overlays this with the practical needs of dogs working sheep on a working station. Kadens way works. Being welcomed into the Hawe home and spending 5 days training my dog here was a wonderful experience that I hope to repeat next year.

What a great couple of days with you Denise and everyone who attended that five days. It really was good to touch base on all the things we learnt from you when you first started in Longreach. I have been trying to work on Mystree’s “Pay” attention to me and not the other dogs, to say it is an ever ending battle would be an understatement, but we will work on it.

Hopefully when this drought actually ever breaks I can get some more work for her, but for now we shall continue the basics and wait for the puzzles to come (don’t believe in problems, they can’t be solved but puzzles can, especially with a team).

Sorry I have rambled.......your style today is definitely a lot different to what you first started with and I love it. The smaller group is much easier to work with I agree, it allows everyone to work together to help each other out and more chances for one-n-one.

Once again congratulations to you all.

Kind regards

Anna-Marie

My method of training has come about from years of research and study, I have taken aboard information from highly qualified people (some of which is listed below) and completed relevant courses, I then took that information and molded it to suit working dogs. The last stage was to prove my method by implementing it here at Kaden and also teaching it at my schools. The results were amazing. Now the direction you take in your training is in your hands, I will leave this thought with you.

Some-where along a long and rocky road lies the key to canine psyche, few handlers find it, many do not and then there is the Kaden Way, why not be sure and follow it.
